Wald Yoga
What if we nourished ourselves with a loving and regenerative yoga practice?
In 2025, we are planting a seed together in Wald ZH. Nourishing weekends outside of the busy city life that combine yoga practice with a community feeling. After the yoga, there is a possibility to join for a cup of Oolong tea, community picnic, a panoramic nature walk or the Bleiche Bad spa.
The practice
The intention of our practice is to nourish and connect.
We do this through yoga and other energetic practices. We get inspired by the dedicated practices of generations of yogis, as well as our teachers in the forest: The trees, the plants, the mycelium, the powerful seeds, the animals, the elements.
There are three formats:
- Monthly community practice. This is aimed at people who like to join regularly and co-create the community feeling. We combine different yogic and energetic practices such as the 90-minute Hatha & Yoga Nidra practice and we have an optional picnic or walk after the yoga. In contrast to a typical class in a yoga studio, I will also participate in this community practice and will talk less so we can immerse together more deeply. The postures are pretty straightforward and suitable to all levels. We co-create a beautiful energy field together that inspires and supports all of us, during the practice and beyond. We sometimes also arrange additional yoga practices bilaterally or in a small group beyond the monthly sessions.
- Hatha & Nidra classes. Once in a while, I am teaching open 90-minute Hatha & Yoga Nidra classes. They are announced in our WhatsApp group and on this page. We start with pranayama (guided breathing) mobilising energy and calming the mind. We then warm up our bodies through gentle movements and go through a 45-minute Hatha Yoga sequence of physical postures. They combine ‘Ha’ (sun) elements of active strengthening and holds, with ‘Tha’ (moon) elements of deep stretches. The elements and intensity will be tailored to the day and group. - Guest teachers and workshops. Increasingly, we will also have guest teachers who will bring their styles and practices into our space. Drop a mail and join our WhatsApp group to stay informed about guest teachers.
The place
Wald ZH is just 40 min from Zurich by train and one of the greenest nature places in the region. It’s often sunny, just above the fog. The region vibrates with life energy, animals, forests and sunlight.
Taiji am Fluss is a beautiful practice space next to a little river. It’s 5 minutes to the spa Bleiche Bad, a cosy brunch place as well as the starting point to scenic walks.
As the days get warmer, we will also practice outdoors in the forest.

I am practicing, exploring, and teaching Hatha Yoga (Vikasa Style) and Yoga Nidra (Sanapurna Style). I am happy to share and teach, as well as to join others, get inspired and/or co-create new sequences and immersive experiences together.
